Poet Dancing in the rain

A poet is someone who stands outside in the rain hoping to be struck by lightning. - James Dickey

Hallelujah
today I felt these very rain drops on my ivory complexion, me and a couple of fellow artists were ambling down Foveaux Street when the first droplets burst forth from their cloudy confine and graced us with their presence on earth, and thats all it took to set my soul on fire.... which the many honking cars could not douse

We danced until our feet were sore and blistered (turns out those shoes weren't such a good buy after all, back to vinnies with them!!)

heres a picture of Ezra, frolicking on the street

  7. Oh how TRULY eccentric!!! I ADORE moments like these, simply electrifying!! I do admire your love of mother earth, James Dickey is really a remarkable man.

I live for these indie times in my life, and always try to carry them around with me. In fact, I cannot bear to leave them at home, so I have taken to using my hand-made photo-bag: one of my many unique ways to flaunt reality, I fashioned an old leather photo album- yes it was from vinnies, of COURSE my darlings! - and attached an old coat sleeve as a shoulder strap handle which I managed to barter from a homeless man outside of kings cross train station for a bargain 30 cents after a night at the disco - a daring yet rewarding adventure! I now carry my precious photographic and drawing collections around with me ALWAYS! it is such a marvelous contraption!

I wish you well my dears, perhaps if you happen to be flouncing by my apartment in Paddington (i share a flat with my roomies, you couldnt miss it, its covered in chinese lanterns!) I may join join you in your dancing.

    Frolick on !!
much love from Hysinthia Glade xxxxxxxxxxx

  8. I am much inspired by your post this week Sage!
Inspired by an anonymous I must reveal one of my exciting and new blends of herbal tea -- I do agree that dandelion, fennel and nettle sounds scrumptious, in fact I am drinking a concoction now! (teehee) but I am excited to exclaim that adding raddish to this tea brightens both the colour AND flavour!! It makes me giddy with happiness (in fact a bit too giddy, so go easy on the radish dears!)

    wooooooooo party on!!!
    love Papilon Rouge
(my real name is just Martha, but Papillon is so much more fun!!)

  9. Oh goodness gracious me! I have just read the latest frankie magazine (a favourite for all experienced and amateur indies) and I would just like to quote the latest news letter:

"So while you're making your way through frankie 37, please make time between page flipping to run in the rain, pull a face at someone and laugh until you run out of breath. Jump round the room. Maybe even run away somewhere special and come home in time for tea. Be seen and heard. Have fun."

All I can say to that is, great indie minds think alike.
    Bless you all darlings,
    Cherry Sprinkleblossum
